Narrative Text ~ The King Who Had Horns


                   The King Who Had Horns
          Once there was a King who has very unjust and cruel to his people. One day, he felt something strange on his head. LooKing into the mirror, he saw that two horn beginning to grow on his head.
          ”What it is ? Are is the horns ? Oh my gosh, i have the horned, is imposible.”
          The King tried to hide the horns. One day, when his hair was long enough, he sent for a barber who came to his palace to cut his hair. While the barber was worKing, he was shocked to see the horns.
          “Sorry King, what i have seen is true ? Are is the horns ? Is the King horned ?” he said with frightened.
          The King noticed his surprise, and said,
“If  you tell anyone what you have seen, you will be punished.”  The barber was greatly  frightened hearing this.
          “Yes King, i was promised did not intend anyone, what i have seen.”
          When he reached home, the barber did not intend to tell anyone, for he was afraid ; but as he thought of  his secret more and more, the desire to tell someone became so strong that he knew he could not keep it.
“I was did not intend to tell anyone, however, i could not savied this secret again, what i did ? I was confused.”
Finally, he went to a field and dug a hole under some bamboo trees. When the hole large enough he crawled in and whispered that the King had horns. He than climbed out,  filled up the hole, and went home.
          By and by some people came along the road. As they passed the bamboo tress they stopped in amazement, for surely a voice came from the trees, and it said that the King had horns. These people told other what they had heard, and soon the news had spead all over the Kingdom. The people then went to the King’s palace and ask him to go out.
          The King refused to go out. So, the people attacked the palace. They saw the King with his two horns and got angry with him. The King was really afraid. Luckily, the barber could calm them.              
All the people went away from the palace. Because of happening, the King realized his mistakes. He changed his bad attitued. And slowly but surely, the horns got disappeared.
